Hello and welcome to my site,

My name is Amanda Kennedy and i am currently in my second year of my HND Graphic Design course at the Glasgow Metropolitan College. From this course i have gained key skills in the Adobe Creative Suite software and have gained knowledge in aspects such as typography, animation, web design, photography and printing.

 I am very enthusiastic about the work i produce and take an individual approach to a given project. I prefer to take the hands on, creative approach which allows me to explore lots of different aspects of design. My inspiration comes from everything around me - from art, music, films, fashion, television, books, objects, childhood, people, art galleries, museums, different cultures and countries.

Other interests include the Girls Brigade which i have become an officer in, I like to keep fit through attending dancing classes in tap, ballet and modern,  and i enjoy watching films and playing guitar and music.

Following my HND year I hope to pursue my studies further to obtain a university degree. In the future I hope to gain a position in a large design company to gain some business experience. Later I would like to work in a smaller company or to start up my own company. Hope you enjoy my website and feel free to explore.
